Aspire to Intern

Aspire to Intern was created to improve academic and professional outcomes for Black students in STEM by increasing their awareness of internship opportunities and equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in those internships.

Through 1-on-1 coaching and group workshops, I teach students how to secure internships to build their resumes, develop a professional network, and set themselves apart from other job seekers.

Don't wait until you graduate to start your professional journey. Let me help your student secure an internship today!

*Aspire to Intern focuses on internships in STEM fields.

    Who am I?

I am an educator, writer, and a STEM diversity advocate.

As a student, I secured 4 paid state/federal STEM internships and a federal grant (~$45k/year) to cover my graduate tuition and expenses. I also began my federal career as an intern.

I have over 13 years of federal service in science and education. I also taught middle school science and recruited minority students into STEM majors at the technical college level.
